Manipur Film Development Corporation, in association with Huntre presents the second edition of Re:PLAY Internesenal Film Kumhei in January 2012. Like Re:PLAY 2010, it is a digital festival of non-fiction films that takes a best-of-fest approach to bring you selections from distinguished international film festivals. Re:PLAY pays special attention to films about sports and performance in recognition of Manipur’s distinction in these fields.

About Festival

For 5 days in January 2012, Re:PLAY Internesanal Film Kumhei presents selections from Dance on Camera Festival, New York’s annual film festival on dance presented by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and Dance Films Association. The selections are made by Deirdre Towers, Guest Curator.

Re:PLAY 2012 also focuses on Indonesia, with selections from Film Festival Dokumenter in Yogjakarta in Java.
It presents two film workshops: Screenplay Workshop led by Alexandra Viets from Washington D.C., and How to Document Dance, led by Yoshiko Chuma whose School of Hard Knocks is based in New York City.
